Haki Abazi is the program director of the Western Balkans portion of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund’s Pivotal Place program. Prior to joining the RBF in 2007, Mr. Abazi served as the director of the Kosovo office of the East West Management Institute, where he developed and implemented a wide range of programs addressing critical issues in Kosovo during the transition period. Mr. Abazi spent more than nine years designing and managing development programs that supported overall developments and increased citizen participation in decision-making processes in a number of countries, including Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro, Afghanistan, and Indonesia. He has in-depth knowledge of and experience with the civil society community and the geopolitics of the Balkans region.
