Announcing: GrantCraft’s Interactive Tool Finder

We are thrilled to share with you our newest GrantCraft resource: an interactive tool finder to help you comb through the Internet to find the best in collaborative technologies.

Today, the Foundation Center and the Monitor Institute released a joint report – Harnessing Collaborative Technologies: Helping Funders Work Together Better – which shares the different phases of collaboration and types of online tools that facilitate sharing, coordination, and cooperation. A Key Findings executive summary also is available. New technologies including social networking sites, file sharing tools, project management dashboards, and crowdsourcing systems are making it easier than ever before to communicate and connect, and GrantCraft's new interactive tool finder builds on the report's findings to help you navigate these technologies more effectively. You can also use the finder on the go; we've optimized it for mobile use. We will update the finder twice a year to reflect the constantly evolving technology landscape.

As we shared in both of our funder collaboratives guides, funders worldwide have an opportunity to grow their impact by working with one another. We hope that you use our finder to facilitate your existing and future collaborations, share tips with other funders using the sharing feature on every page, suggest tools that we should add to the finder in the future. If you like the finder, tweet about it, too. We'd love to hear about your favorite online collaboration tools, and why, too. Tell us about them in the comments.
