Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Implementation Grants Map

In June 2012, the Obama administration signed a memo calling for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Nearly 2 million immigrant youth and young adults were suddenly granted the possibility of temporary relief from the threat of deportation.

In 2013, Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees (GCIR) contracted with Foundation Center to build a map of DACA-related funding. The map showcases a mix of funding flows from local, regional, and national funders, as well as pooled or aligned funds made by collaboratives. It now serves as a resource to funders who are looking to increase awareness of the need for funding DACA-related grants and to find partners for collaboration. Grantees can also use the map to investigate funding opportunities.
